Accessibility Statement – Star of David Ring

This statement was last updated on [enter relevant date].

We at starofdavidring.com are working to make our site accessible to people with disabilities.

Our Commitment

StarOfDavidRing.com is committed to making its website usable by all people, including those with disabilities. We aim to meet or exceed the requirements of WCAG 2.1 Level AA—the globally recognised standard for web accessibility.

Measures We Take

  • Platform & Code
We build on Wix Studio, which outputs semantic HTML, ARIA landmarks, and keyboard-friendly components by default.

  • Visual Design
All colour choices meet or exceed a 4.5 : 1 contrast ratio. When colour alone conveys meaning, we add patterns, icons, or text labels.

  • Images & Media
Every meaningful image carries descriptive alt text; purely decorative images are marked “decorative” so screen-readers skip them. Future audio or video content will include captions or transcripts.

  • Navigation
A “Skip to Content” link appears at the top of every page. Headings follow a logical outline—from one H1 per page down through H2 and H3—so assistive technologies can quickly map the structure.

  • Forms & Interactive Elements
All form fields have visible labels, focus indicators, and real-time error messages. Elements can be reached, opened, and submitted via keyboard alone.

  • Testing & Audits
We run quarterly checks with the Wix Accessibility Wizard, WAVE, and manual keyboard / screen-reader tests (NVDA & VoiceOver). Issues discovered are added to our development queue and resolved as quickly as possible.

Conformance Status

Our current self-evaluation indicates substantial conformance with WCAG 2.1 Level AA. Some content may not yet be fully compliant, and we appreciate your patience as we continue improvements.

Known Limitations

  • Third-party services such as payment gateways and the live-chat widget are developed externally; while we choose vendors that strive for accessibility, certain controls may fall short of WCAG standards.

  • User-generated content (e.g., customer reviews) occasionally lacks structured markup. We monitor submissions and correct issues when feasible.

If you find anything not listed here, please tell us so we can address it.

Assessment Approach

  • Automated scans with Wix Accessibility Wizard and WAVE

  • Manual keyboard-only navigation tests (Tab / Shift+Tab)

  • Screen-reader checks on Windows (NVDA) and macOS (VoiceOver)

  • Colour-contrast verification with WCAG tools
